Spain's online gambling revenue ranking released

According to the latest report, Spain’s online gambling revenue exceeded the 191.2 million euro mark in the past three months. Although sports betting revenue fell by 15.4% year-on-year, it increased by a quarter compared to the second quarter of 2020, creating revenue of 85.2 million euros. Among them, pre-match betting revenue dropped by 21.4% year-on-year by approximately 31.5 million euros, while live betting revenue fell by 9% by approximately 52.6 million euros.

Although sports betting declined year-on-year, online betting received the opposite. Online gambling revenue in March last year increased by 26% year-on-year to 83.9 million euros. Among them, slot machines are still the main source of online gaming revenue. Online slot machines increased by 29% year-on-year to approximately 49.8 million euros. Online roulette games increased by 42% year-on-year to approximately 22.4 million euros. Online poker revenue increased by 12.4% year-on-year to 23 million euros, but it was down nearly 40% from the second quarter. From this point of view, the new crown epidemic has indeed brought serious damage to the gaming industry.
